Instructions for plastic material:
- Separate the eyelet & ensure that the washer is sitting correctly in place on the bottom section of the eyelet. Position the two halves of the eyelet above & underneath the material & snap the two sections together. Using a hammer gently tap the top of the eyelet will cut down into the fabric to create the hole & will secure into place.
- For best results fold the material in two to give double thickness
Instruction for canvas material:
- Separate the eyelet & remove the washer. Using the base (male) section of the eyelet, push into the canvas making the impression, cut out the hole. Position the two halves of the eyelet above & underneath the material & snap the two sections together. Using a hammer, gently tap the top of the eyelet to secure into place.
- For best results, fold the material in two to give double thickness on lightweight canvas, but on heavy duty canvas do not fold
