Calcium Chloride crystals absorb the water vapour from the air, taking up to 3 times their own weight in water. Moisture is drawn from the air and collects on the surface of the crystals and then drips into the bottom of the container where it's converted to brine and can be safely disposed of.
Each refill pack can absorb up to 3.5 litres of water and lasts up to 4 months.

Does the trick
We have used these over the past few years in our static caravan with great success. Its amazing just how much moisture they collect and a bit concerning to think how much it could have ruined the place if we didnt have them. Used together with the crystals we have a worry free winter knowing that our holiday home will be dry when we return. We are buying more because we have upgraded to a larger one and need more for the extra rooms and size.
