The Outwell Vermont XL footprint is designed to fit under the sewn in groundsheet area of your tent to protect it from damage by stones.   This handy piece of camping gear is important in that is keeps the base of your tent clean, helping to add a layer of insulation.

They are hemmed round the edge with binding tape, pegging loops and come supplied with flat top pegs to hold them in place.  If you get to a pitch that is tight on space, this tent footprint is also useful as when you lay it down, you can work out the best place to erect your tent.
